AlarmWatch: Hanwell have integrated 10 years of expertise in the design of data acquisition products, enabling users to seamlessly combine standalone dataloggers, radio telemetry and bus-based instrumentation for use by museums and galleries, large or small.

Our discreet instrumentation continuously and simultaneously manages humidifiers, dehumidifiers and heating systems as well as lux/uv and shock/tilt events, having developed data acquisition systems offering a total solution to many monitoring and data requirements.

A very high degree of flexibility and modularity in the design ensures that customisation and expansion of the system is fully supported. We have also made the redeployment of instrumentation effortless, understanding that clients' processes evolve with time.

An extensive range of data interfaces allow systems to be rapidly adapted for client-specific requirements:
  • Standalone
  • Bus-wired
  • Radio Telemetry
  • Structured Cabling
  • Modem Access via telephone network
  • Internet and email access

There is a choice either to accept data directly into a PC or use a Hanwell system controller to interpret and log data from the system. When the PC is connected and active the controller will act in a transparent manner. When a PC is unavailable the controller will automatically take over the logging tasks.

WATCH RANGE - click on image or link below for further details
AlarmWatch AW01 - The AW01 unit is part of the GSM based Watch series. All products in the Watch range are truly stand-alone and are suitable for use in the most remote locations. The only limitation to use is the availability of a GSM signal. The Alarm Watch units are battery powered which are user replaceable, with a life expectancy of around two years.  The AW01 has 4 digital inputs.
AlarmWatch AW02 - The AW02 has the same basic specification as the AW01. The AW02 combines 2 contact inputs with a single channel thermistor temperature sensor.
AlarmWatch AW03 - The AlarmWatch unit is part of the GSM based Watch series. The AW03 combines 2 contact inputs with a single channel PT100 temperature sensor.
FloodWatch FW01 - The FW01 is a fully self contained flood detection and alarm system. There are 4 direct inputs for connecting Hanwell flood detection cable. On activation of an alarm an SMS alarm message is sent. The Flood Watch units are battery powered which are user replaceable, with a life expectancy of around two years.
E-Alarm - a standard feature on Radiolog8 PC software. Using the address book function in Radiolog8 alarm events can be linked to email addresses. When an alarm is generated the alarm details are sent by email to the recipients listed in the address book.
SMS Alarm - a standard feature on Radiolog8 (additional hardware required). Using the address book function in Radiolog8 alarm events can be sent via SMS.  When an alarm is generated the alarm details are sent via SMS to the recipients listed in the address book. The SMS alarm modem module connects directly to the serial port on the PC or server.  SMS alarm module part number SMS-A-UK (UK version) SMS-A-EU (European version) SMS-A-US (American version).
GSM and PSTN Autodiallers - available if required. The Smart Receivers and controllers have on-board relays that can be used to drive autodiallers. Autodiallers are used to indicate system failures such as power failures or network or server failures.  On mission critical systems autodiallers are used to back up other methods of alarm notification. GSM autodialler part number AD2, PSTN autodialler part number AD1.
Audible and visual - A visual red flashing beacon with wall mounting bracket is available, part number ABR12/24.  This unit can be driven by the relays on the Smart Receiver or the controller. A portable wireless audible and visual alarm unit is available, part number RA-SF. The wireless unit requires a remote transmitter fitted at the base station (pictured left).
