The FloodWatch unit is part of the GSM based Watch series. The FW01 has four directly cabled flood inputs. An optional radio receiver can be added to allow inputs from wireless flood detectors. The use of wireless flood detectors allows much larger areas to be covered without the disruption and expense associated with wiring.
All products in the Watch range are truly stand-alone and are suitable for use in the most remote locations. The only limitation to use is the availability of a GSM signal. The FloodWatch unit is battery powered, which are user replaceable, with a life expectancy of around two years (depending on usage). The unit can be powered by an external 9 volt supply if required.
