Hanwell have integrated 10 years of expertise in the design of data acquisition products, enabling users to seamlessly combine standalone dataloggers, radio telemetry and bus-based instrumentation for use by museums and galleries, large or small.

Our discreet instrumentation continuously and simultaneously manages humidifiers, dehumidifiers and heating systems as well as lux/uv and shock/tilt events, having developed data acquisition systems offering a total solution to many monitoring and data requirements.

A very high degree of flexibility and modularity in the design ensures that customisation and expansion of the system is fully supported. We have also made the redeployment of instrumentation effortless, understanding that clients' processes evolve with time.

An extensive range of data interfaces allow systems to be rapidly adapted for client-specific requirements:

There is a choice either to accept data directly into a PC or use a Hanwell system controller to interpret and log data from the system. When the PC is connected and active the controller will act in a transparent manner. When a PC is unavailable the controller will automatically take over the logging tasks.

hl4101 - The hl4101 datalogger is one of a new series of advanced standalone temperature and humidity dataloggers. These smart loggers are ideal for situations where logging may be temporary, for enclosing with a valuable shipment or situations where a wired or radio system is not the best solution.
Hornet - All too often sensor quality, accuracy and memory are sacrificed to produce small dataloggers. This is not the case with the Hornet - a new addition to the Hanlog range. The Hornet uses the same high quality components that are used on all Hanwell measuring instruments. The Hornet provides an unbeatable price/performance ratio for professional users.
i-bug & v-bug - Palm sized standalone dataloggers that record current and voltage signals from industry-standard transducers, transmitters and sensors.
rtm40 - The rtm40 series GSM dataloggers combine proven Hanwell data logging technology with state of the art GPRS data communications. The advantage of GPRS is that reliable communications can be established in areas where conventional land lines are not available or are unreliable. GPRS is the technology of choice, for minimum running costs, especially when large numbers of recorders are envisaged.

Universal Light Meter - The Universal Light Meter is a hand-held instrument designed to measure Lux and UV and display the readings (including calculated cumulative exposures where applicable) in an easily understood format. Temperature and humidity measurement is available as an optional extra.
ml4701 Lux - It is recognised that one of the major causes of damage to works of art, fine furniture, carpets, wall coverings and museum exhibits is light falling on the objects.

Hanwell provide a range of instruments that enable the conservator to measure the levels of Lux and the UV content of light.

ml4703 Lux/UV - The ml4703 Lux & UV datalogger is part of the 4000 range of advanced data loggers, allowing monitoring of a site, with historical analysis of data.
htl1000 high temperature submersible logger- The htl-1000 high temperature submersible logger is designed for use in tough, high temperature environments where there is a requirement for accurate and reliable temperature data.
hl4106 RH/T - The hl4106 datalogger is one of a new series of advanced standalone temperature and humidity dataloggers. hl4301 RH/T- The hl4301 & hl4302 are precision 3-wire PT100 temperature dataloggers. The hl4301 is single channel the hl4302 is dual channel. The sensors are connected via 5 pin Lemo plugs and sockets.  Each 4000 unit reads its on-board sensors providing accurate and reliable information about environmental conditions.
hl4401 RH/T- The hl4401 & hl4402 are precision 4-wire PT100 temperature dataloggers. The hl4401 is single channel the hl4402 is dual channel.  The sensors are connected via 5 pin Lemo plugs and sockets. Each 4000 unit reads its on-board sensors providing accurate and reliable information about environmental conditions.

Shockbug - The Hanwell Shockbug is designed to record shock or tilt events experienced by a valuable object during transit. The unit is an event logger, i.e. it only records the time at which preset limits are exceeded. These limits are set during manufacture.
